Glyn was educated at Wandsworth School from 1962 and was a long-time member of that famous choir becoming its Director from 1980-1986 following the untimely death of the Choir’s founder, Russell Burgess. Glyn retired from teaching in 2001. He is much in demand as a choral specialist, conductor, keyboard player, singer and cabaret performer and has performed throughout Europe (particularly France and Germany) and North America. He has worked extensively with groups of all ages but has particularly enjoyed his fifteen plus years with the Kingston U3A singers. His main goals are to work to the highest standard possible with a repertoire encompassing sacred and secular music from the classic British and American song books, but, above all, for us to enjoy ourselves!
